PBJ PLZ! is celebrating its 10th anniversary!
About PBJ PLZ!
PBJ PLZ! is a collaboration among WCTV, Leon County Schools and Second Harvest of the Big Bend. It kicks off each year on April 2 - National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day!
- Students are encouraged to bring jars of peanut butter and jelly to school throughout the month of April and everyone is invited to make online donations.
- PBJ PLZ! is designed to help children in the summer months when they do not have access to free meals at school. Donations also help to stock school pantries that are up and running in Leon County Schools.
-PBJ PLZ! is a simple, tangible, affordable way for children to help other children. It’s also a chance to boost awareness and spark conversation about hunger in our community.
We invite you to be a part of this award-winning drive and to help us as we try to make a delicious difference for hungry children and families in our community.
